Refund & Cancellation

Fair remedies for digital access and physical keepsakes.

This Policy explains cancellation, refunds, duplicate charges, physical-product issues and statutory consumer rights. LifeBook's contractual policy never removes a mandatory local consumer right.

Effective: 4 September 2026Last updated: 4 September 2026
International users

LifeBook is operated from Seychelles and may be used internationally. Mandatory privacy, consumer, child-safety and digital-service protections in your jurisdiction apply where the law says they do, even when these documents refer to Seychelles law.

1. Scope

This Policy covers LifeBook digital access terms, QR products, physical keepsakes and other paid services. It does not reduce any mandatory statutory right available to you.

2. Fixed access terms

LifeBook currently may sell monthly, yearly and multi-year access terms as fixed periods. A displayed access term is not automatically a recurring subscription. Your checkout will state the actual billing arrangement.

3. Auto-renewing plans

If LifeBook offers an auto-renewing plan in the future, automatic renewal will be clearly disclosed before purchase together with price, interval and cancellation method. Cancellation will stop future renewal and ordinarily takes effect at the end of the paid period unless law requires otherwise.

4. Duplicate or incorrect charges

Contact LifeBook if you were charged twice, charged an incorrect amount, purchased the wrong plan by mistake or believe a payment was unauthorised. We will investigate and apply the appropriate remedy.

5. Paid service not supplied

If LifeBook fails to provide a paid service and cannot reasonably correct the problem, available remedies may include restoration, extension, credit, partial refund, full refund or another remedy required by applicable law.

6. Digital services and withdrawal rights

Refund eligibility for a digital service may depend on when it was purchased, whether performance began, how much it was used and mandatory consumer law. Where a statutory cooling-off or withdrawal right applies, LifeBook will honour it.

If law permits a withdrawal right to change once immediate digital performance begins, LifeBook will obtain any legally required request, consent or acknowledgement before relying on that change.

7. Physical products

Standard non-personalised products may be returned or cancelled where required by law. Personalised products that have already entered production may have different change-of-mind rules, but personalisation does not remove rights where an item is defective, damaged, materially different from the order, incorrectly manufactured or otherwise protected by mandatory consumer law.

8. QR products

A physical QR item and the associated digital LifeBook service are different components. A physical defect may be repaired, replaced or refunded as appropriate. A digital-service issue is assessed separately under the applicable access term and consumer law.

9. Shipping and delivery

Estimated production and delivery periods are shown where practical. Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless expressly stated. Statutory rights concerning late, failed or damaged delivery remain unaffected.

10. Refund method

Approved refunds are ordinarily returned through the original payment method where technically and legally possible. Payment-provider processing time is outside LifeBook's direct control.

11. EU/EEA consumers

Where EU distance-contract or digital-content rules apply, statutory withdrawal rights, pre-contract information requirements and remedies for non-conforming digital content, digital services or goods apply according to local implementation.

12. UK consumers

Nothing in this Policy excludes statutory UK rights relating to goods, digital content or services, including remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under consumer law.

13. Australian consumers

Goods and services supplied to Australian consumers may come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. LifeBook's contractual refund arrangements are additional to those guarantees.

14. Other countries

If mandatory consumer law where you live gives a greater refund, repair, replacement, cancellation, cooling-off, delivery or warranty right than this Policy, the mandatory local right takes precedence.

15. Requesting a refund or cancellation

Use the support contact shown below and include the account email, order number, purchase date and a concise explanation of the issue. Do not send full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials.
