Lifetime service commitment

Your one-time purchase Remembrance LifeBook costs USD 150 as a one-time payment for one LifeBook. There are no annual renewal fees or automatic subscription charges for the included digital plan. Physical QR products and optional extras are charged separately unless expressly included in your order. What lifetime access means Your purchased LifeBook has no scheduled expiry date. “Lifetime access” means access for the operating lifetime of the LifeBook Family Remembrance service. It does not mean the lifetime of the purchaser or the person being remembered, and it is not a guarantee that an online service will operate forever. The entitlement belongs to the purchased LifeBook. It does not expire simply because the original purchaser dies, stops adding memories or does not regularly sign in. Service-closure arrangements are explained below. Included access and updates You and your authorised family members may continue viewing, editing and adding content within the features, storage and contributor allowances shown at checkout and recorded with your purchase. Your selected privacy and sharing permissions continue to apply. Normal security updates, bug fixes and maintenance of the included service are provided without a separate renewal fee. Optional new premium products or features may be offered separately. Lifetime access does not include unlimited storage, unlimited AI use or every future premium feature. We will not introduce renewal fees or reduce your purchased allowances simply because we later change the prices or benefits offered to new customers. Optional upgrades Upgrading is optional. Declining an upgrade does not remove your existing lifetime entitlement. When an eligible higher lifetime Remembrance tier becomes available, the amount actually paid and not refunded for your digital lifetime plan will be credited toward the upgrade for the same LifeBook and in the same currency. For a customer who paid USD 150, the eligible starting credit is USD 150. The upgrade price and credit will be shown before payment. An upgrade retains the same LifeBook, its content and its connected QR. Physical products, shipping and separately purchased services are not included in lifetime-plan credit. Upgrade credit cannot be exchanged for cash; this does not limit any legal right to a refund. Family administration and succession The account holder may request that administration of the LifeBook be transferred to another trusted person. If the account holder dies or becomes unable to manage it, an authorised representative may request a transfer. We will verify identity and authority before making changes, respecting applicable law and existing privacy permissions. Transferring administration of the same LifeBook does not require purchasing the lifetime plan again. A family relationship alone does not automatically grant access to private content. Service continuity and planned closure If we plan to permanently discontinue the Remembrance service without a continuation arrangement that honours existing entitlements, we will give affected account holders at least 90 days’ advance notice using their registered contact details and a notice on the platform. During that notice period, we will provide, without an additional export fee, a way to obtain the available LifeBook text and uploaded media that the account holder is authorised to receive, in commonly used formats. An export may not reproduce the website’s interactive layout or keep the hosted QR destination working after closure. If an unexpected event outside our reasonable control prevents that notice period, we will provide as much notice and retrieval assistance as reasonably possible. These arrangements do not remove any rights to a refund or another remedy under applicable law. Customers are encouraged to keep independent copies of important photographs and memories. Account protection and customer rights Maintenance or temporary technical interruptions do not cancel the lifetime entitlement. Access may be restricted where necessary to address security threats, unlawful content or a serious breach of the Terms of Service. Where lawful and reasonably possible, we will explain the restriction and provide an opportunity to resolve it. These terms supplement the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. They do not exclude mandatory consumer rights, including applicable cancellation, refund and service-quality rights. Later changes to general terms will not automatically replace the lifetime commitment accepted with your purchase.

Optional upgrades

The amount paid for an eligible lifetime Remembrance plan is credited toward a higher lifetime tier in the same plan family and currency, for the same LifeBook. Upgrades retain lifetime access. Physical products and separate service purchases are not part of this credit. A higher tier must be available before an upgrade can be purchased.

Storage and additional products

Your checkout shows the plan’s storage and contributor allowance. Lifetime access does not mean unlimited storage, unlimited AI use, or free physical products. Any separately priced additions require your approval.
